Independence Day

Brady is 10 whole months old. To celebrate Mommy and Daddy went away for their first night away from the lil man. He was well cared for, courtesy of Aunt Jen, Uncle Jamie, and cousin Tucker. He had a great time, and so did Mommy and Daddy. I guess he can survive without us.

Brief Update:
Brady is up to alot of new things, mostly not good. He is cruising all around the house holding onto furniture, he has stood without holding on to anything, but quickly fell. He loves the kitchen! He is learning what the word NO means and how to obey it sometimes. He says MaMa, especially when daddy isn't letting him get away with anything. He has a favorite book, "Eight Silly Monkeys", he loves it. He laughs outloud when you are reading it to him, it is very sweet.

He helps with the dishes,

He helps with the laundry, well in his own way

You Should See The Other Guy

Brady recieved his first black eye. Daddy picked him up from daycare and apparently he had an altercation with the baby gate, and the gate won. Lance came through the door and said, "Honey, get the camera, Brady has his first black eye!"

Poor Lil Guy.....

In addition to the black eye he is also getting two more teeth on the bottom. Total teeth=8! He is not having a good day!

TRICK OR TREAT

COOKIN' THEM CRAWDADS
Brady has had a wonderful 1st Halloween. He is supposed to be a lobster, but in this part of the country, he is a crawdad. The cutest crawdad I have ever seen. Mommy is a little biased.
Brady is a little too young for candy, but he was more than happy to see all the little monsters come to our door for trick or treat.

Earlier in the day Brady was Mommy's lil pumpkin.....

My How I Am Growing

My 9 mth birthday has come and gone. I am changing so quickly and learning so many new things. I eat anything insight, and you will know that I have had enough when I blow a spoonful of carrots in your face. I like to feed myself, but I let mommy and daddy do it sometimes. If they are too slow I take matters into my own hands

I am a waving fool. I wave at anyone who will look at me. It drives the ladies wild, young and old.

Soon I will be walking, I am starting to practice. I can pull myself up on anything and take steps from one piece of furniture to another, especially if there is something that I am not supposed to have!!

PLAYING HOOKEY

Brady had a Dr. appt today. He currently is just under 21lbs and is 30inches tall. He had quite the growth spurt this month. He has been congested for a couple of days, so, you guessed it.... back on the breathing treatments-4 times/day and antibiotics for ear infection. Hopefully he will be good as new in a few days.

Please God

No Daycare!!!

I will try to be a good boy!!

Brady's prayers were answered..... Doc says no daycare for a few days.

He amazingly felt much better once he got the news...

PEEK-A-BOO!

What Did You Say?

I reluctantly admit..... Brady's first word is DaDa. Although he calls me dada, Lance-dada, and even Riley-dada. Maybe MaMa will be next. One can hope, my luck it will be Riley.

Brady had another first today, he had his first carnival ride. He did not cry like some of the others, but when the carousel started to move he was as stiff as a board.

Bye Daddy!

Looks like Mommy's having more fun
than Brady.

Happy 8 Months, Brady!!

Wow, how time flies when you get no sleep, no time to yourself, and constantly smell like spoiled milk. The weird thing is that you love every minute of it.

Brady and Tucker had a sleep over this past week end it went pretty well, from the looks of Tucker they partied all night:

WILD MAN

Milestones....

Brady is growing like a weed. He now has six teeth. Four on top and two on the bottom. His top front teeth finally arrived. We were a little concerned because he got his top side teeth first, and the Dr. said she had never seen that before. He looked like a Louisiana native. He eats any and everything, he is an equal opportunist.

(Brady's tshirt says, "I get my good looks from
my dad") Lance loves this shirt. Brady has also starting pulling himself up and standing. He has already gotten a couple of goose eggs, good thing he has a hard head. He is babbling more and more. At times you can hear dada and mama, but I think it is more of an accident.

Settling In

Louisiana is good, alot slower pace than Florida. Everyone is extremely friendly, I have already had two offers for babysitting duty. Little do they know that I will take them up on the offer. We have had several visitors. The Schuler Clan from Arkansas spent our first weekend with us, the boys had a great time. Both boys were bruise and bite mark free surprisingly at the end of the weekend. Although, there was a bee incident, and Brady recieved his first sting, but nothing slowed him down, not even the benadryl.
Here are some more pictures from our weekend together.....
